history

 Aims and Objectives of the Department are

  • To produce dependable and qualified petroleum engineers, and
  • To make concerted effort to carry out useful researches for the nation.

 

 

The department takes the responsibilities to design syllabus and curriculum, to produce lecture notes and textbooks for AGTI, B.Tech, B.E, M.E and Ph.D courses, setting examination questions, sample questions and providing solutions, supervising thesis, dissertation for M.E and Ph.D candidates, conducting research and survey beneficial to the nation and refresher courses on the prescribed texts are provided to teachers from T.Us off and on.

      (1)   Computer application in determining average reservoir pressure from pressure buildup test.
      (2)   Computer program for estimating statics and flowing bottom hole pressure of oil and gas well.
      (3)   Design program for pumping installation.
      (4)   Computer aided buildup test analysis.
