Yangon Technological University is cooperated with other Technological Universities. The following are the list of universities: 

• University of Karlsruhe, Germany
• Shibaura Institute of Technology, Japan
• Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand
• Mae Fah Luang University, Thailand

Many joint projects and researches are performed with those international universities. Dr. Horst Hippler, Rector of University of Karlsruhe (Germany) visited to YTU and discussed for cooperation in research. The photo shows the meeting between the Rector and Professors from YTU, and the mission from University of Karlsruhe (Germany) headed by its Rector.
