ESTABLISHMENT

According to the guidance of Senior General Than Shwe, chairmar of SPDC and chief of Defense Service, Myanmar Aerospace Engineering University was established through promulgation of state Peace and Development Council Lam No.2/2202 on February 15/2002. The academic year for the first batch students was started on 1st August, 2002 and the second batch classes began on 2nd December, 2002.

The Myanmar Aerospace Engineering University is located in Meikhtila Township in Mandalay Division. It is situated beside the Ground Training Base of Myanmar Air Force and the Yangon Mandalay road. The area of the university is 112.5 acre.
