National Conference On Science and Engineering (NCSE08)

 ABOUT THE CONFERENCE

Ministry of Science Technology is promoting the human resources in Science and Engineering. In order to meet this aim and to broad coverage and dissemination of foundational research on science and engineering field such as Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electronic Communication Engineering, Electrical Power, Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgy and Information Technology. The National Conference on Science and Engineering was held paralle at upper Myanmar and Lower Myanmar on 23th-24th, August 2008.

GOAL

MOST is conducting this National Conference on Science and Engineering to draw attention to the tremendous range of research efforts on large problems in science and engineering, to promote the interdisciplinary culture required to meet these large-scale challenges, and to encourage the training of the next generation of computational and engineering scientists.


CONFERENCE THEMES

The National Conference will feature poster sessions and oral presentations for post-graduate students in engineering.The goals of the session are to showcase their work with other conference participants, to provide students with feedback on the quality of their research and poster from judges and other professionals,to allow students to obtain citable credit for their presentation, and to encourage students to contribute and share their knowledge among them.

The National Conference on Science and Engineering focus on the following related areas:

          Electrical Power
          Mechanical Engineering
          Metallurgy
          Mechatronic Engineering and
          Information Technology
