Government Technological College (Shwebo) was permitted to open with the necessary staffs as fresh vigour in Shwebo, Sagaing Division of Myanmar on 20th January 2007. It is situated in the north-east of Shwebo, about 3 miles and 5 furlong distant, and in the east of Shwebo-Myitkyina Mahabyuha Road, about 1.14 miles (6016 feet) away. The village is about 0.57 miles distant from the college and it stands in the west of the college. In the north of the college, there is Tegyi village, about 1.5 miles away, and Namaw village, about 2 miles away. The amplitude of Government Technological College is 2300 feet in lenght, 1500 feet in width/breadth and 80 acres in area.
Purpose The purpose of college are founded upon value systems: Classical Humanism, Progressivism and Reconstructionism. Classical Humanism aims at the transmission of an steemed cultural heritage. Progressivism concerns with the growth and self-realization of the individual. Reconstructionism sees education as an instrument of social change. ![]()
