With aim to plan and carry out human resources development programs so as to obtain specialists and professionals in Science and Technology, Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST) has established Government Technological Colleges (GTCs) in four regional area of Myanmar to promote regional development and to train engineering students in those regional area.

There are four Government Technological Colleges (GTCs) in Shwebo, MoeNyin, Myingyan and Sagaing Districts.

1. Government Technological College (Shwebo)
2. Government Technological College (MoeNyin)
3. Government Technological College (Myingyan)
4. Government Technological College (Sagaing)
